Manages donated and purchased resources for the assigned department, ensuring effective communication with donors, community partners, and colleagues. Supports volunteers, facilitates events, and maintains departmental resources, playroom spaces, and storage areas.
Essential Functions:
- Manages and maintains departmental resources for programming and orders supplies as needed.
- Receives, processes, organizes, and distributes donations throughout the hospital and offsite areas.
- Manages communications with donors, community partners, team members, and other internal stakeholders.
- Maintains departmental storage areas through stocking and organizing resources in assigned areas.
- Supports program volunteers as needed and facilitates volunteer training.
- Assists with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of departmental events and programs.
- Supports the maintenance of playrooms and play resources to sustain safe, clean, and accessible learning and play environment.
Education Requirement:
- Completion of some college coursework, required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in child development, education, psychology, supply chain management or related field, preferred.
Skills:
- Strong planning, organizational, and decision making skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with both children and adults.
- Ability to learn new skills and technologies.
Experience:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferred.
- Experience teaching or supervising individuals and groups, preferred.
- Experience using a variety of technology, required.
