Team Overview
We are looking for Data Engineer to bring big data, marketing analytics, and database technology together to deliver best-in-class insights and serve the clients better. You must be a hands-on data who’s passionate about data, database product development, and play well with others. If you have a curiosity for different industries and companies, a passion for data analytics, SQL enthusiast, and skills to create effective and repeatable data transformation and profiling methods, we would like to hear from you.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
• 2 to 5 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering (all disciplines)
• experience in ingestion of client data and turning it into insightful analytics and reports
• Demonstrated strength in SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Python, VBA, redshift
• Experience with EMR, Hadoop, Hive, Spark or other big data technologies
• Familiarity with concepts of data lake, cloud architecture, big data analytics (Kinesis, Athena)
• Strong and effective analytical, communication, creative and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Optional: Background or work experience in Retail Banking Industry is strongly preferred
Required Knowledge And Experiences
• Work with a team of experienced data engineers to work in a collaborative, fast paced onsite-offshore model to meet production data delivery or products for client consumption
• Meet all operational SLAs to deliver high quality data in a timely and consistent manner
• Manage existing data sources and production processes in the cloud for quality
• Monitor and maintain the health and cost of production environment
• Cultivate DevOps culture by encouraging cross training and providing continuous feedback to engineers
• Onboard new Financial Institution and product portfolio to the study
• Strong focus on Operational excellence driving collaboration between business units
• Leverage latest cloud technologies to find and bring efficiency in existing products and processes
• Support internal and external data users by providing technical and functional guidance
• Communicate and drive conversations with Senior Leadership to drive growth
• Generate and manage business KPI dashboards
• Develop and maintain a critical thinking environment in the team
