Engineer

We are looking for “Service Mechanical Engineer – Guards & Ducting” to be based in Pune, India

Role Mission

The position will be part of the Service Mechanical Engineering department, with the objective of supporting service offers layout, engineering activities and machine modifications, with a specific focus on machine guards and cable tray for retrofit and revamping projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Development of mechanical layouts for service offers

• Design of:

  • Safety guards and protective covers

  • Try cable systems (air, hydraulic, elettricity)

• Technical support for machine modification and retrofit projects

• Collaboration with Service, Project Management and Field Service teams

• Support during the industrialization and implementation phases of designed solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in mechanical design within an industrial environment

• Proficiency with CAD systems (NX, Solid Edge, AutoCAD)

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings

• Experience with retrofit and installed‑base machines is considered an advantage in converting machines
