Supervisor, Construction
Summary of Position:
This position will provide construction site inspection and project management assistance to the engineering and construction team to ensure all projects are completed on time and under budget. This will require project coverage in the Pecos area as needed.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The following represents most of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Serving as the construction supervisor during construction and liaison between third-party contractors.
- Managing and inspecting construction projects to maintain compliance with specifications, standards, materials, and methods that meet or exceed company specifications.
- Reviewing construction plans for contract compliance and deficiencies, and provide recommendations where needed.
- Providing project status updates and reviews to management as necessary.
- Preparing project cost reports related to construction site inspections and contract specifications.
- Attending preconstruction, preliminary and final inspection meetings and provide technical support related to assigned job functions and projects to contractors.
- Overseeing third-party contractors’ schedules and work to ensure quality and compliance.
- Understanding and adhering to all Safety and Environmental rules and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have 2-3 years of working experience in a related industry.
- Be proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, MS SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Have knowledge of construction inspection techniques and procedures preferred.
- Have knowledge of civil construction methods, practices, and procedures preferred.
- Have experience in inspecting, reviewing, evaluating, and modifying construction plans preferred.

- Operates in a field environment.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and must be able to carry a self-contained breathing apparatus if needed. Specific vision abilities required by the job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
