At Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency, we provide advanced emergency and specialty care in a collaborative, supportive environment where learning and teamwork are highly valued. Our Neurology department works closely with a board-certified neurologist/neurosurgeon and utilizes advanced imaging including MRI and CT to diagnose and treat complex medical and surgical cases.
As a Neurology Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play an important role supporting patient care, procedures, diagnostics, anesthesia preparation, and client communication throughout the patient journey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys specialty medicine and wants to continue growing their skills in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Assist with neurology appointments, procedures, and hospitalized patient care
Support MRI and CT imaging workflows
Assist with anesthesia preparation and patient monitoring
Help maintain accurate medical records and treatment sheets
Provide compassionate client communication and patient updates
Work closely with Neurology, ER, and Specialty teams to support case flow and patient care
Veterinary Assistant experience required
Specialty or emergency experience preferred, but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Passion for learning and growing within specialty medicine
