System Engineer Commercial (UK)
We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our commercial organisation as a trusted technical pre-sales partner to our Account Executives and channel partners in UK. In this role, you will help customers and partners understand how Everpure’s storage and data platform solutions solve real business and technical challenges, and you will play a key part in advancing opportunities from discovery through technical validation and close.
This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role for someone with strong storage fundamentals, a consultative mindset, and the confidence to engage in technical conversations with both customers and partners. A meaningful part of the role is also enabling partner SEs so they can independently position and scale Everpure solutions in the market.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner closely with Account Executives on commercial opportunities, joining discovery conversations, territory planning, shaping solution direction, and helping move deals forward through the funnel.
- Joining a Pool of SEs that support and collaborate on our Commercial business district.
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical architectures, proposals, sizing, quotes, and solution concepts that build confidence and accelerate decision-making.
- Run technical presentations, demos, workshops, and follow-up sessions for customers and prospects, both remotely and on-site.
- Enable and coach channel partner SEs through workshops, bootcamps, and joint customer engagement so partners can better position and scale Everpure solutions.
- Validate technical fit for opportunities, including storage architecture, protocols, virtualization environments, and broader infrastructure considerations.
- Collaborate across Systems Engineering, Sales, Partners, Support, Product, and other internal teams to solve customer challenges and deliver a strong buying experience.
- Participate in internal training, pipeline reviews, technical enablement, and ongoing knowledge sharing across the team.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of relevant experience in pre-sales, systems engineering, solution architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role in the technology industry.
- Strong grounding in storage and infrastructure fundamentals; storage experience is strongly preferred, and post-sales experience can also be relevant if paired with customer-facing commercial capability.
- Good understanding of block, file, and object storage, along with related technologies such as FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, virtualization, and VMware-style environments.
- Ability to lead consultative technical discovery and engage confidently with customers, prospects, and partners in both business and technical conversations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and credibly.
- A collaborative, curious, and proactive working style, with a willingness to learn quickly, excellent technical discovery/qualification skills and be able to ask questions when needed.
- Experience working with or through channel partners is highly valuable, as partner enablement is a significant part of the role.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through.
