Join Aprio's Advisory team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Associate, Aerospace Defense & Government Advisory (ADGA) to join their dynamic team. 
 
We are seeking an Associate with an entrepreneurial mindset, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, is open to early exposure to C-suite clients, and has an interest in the aerospace, defense, and national security markets.
 
This position supports U.S. government and defense‑related clients. Certain engagements require personnel who are eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance or who meet client‑defined access requirements for controlled environments. U.S. citizenship may be a requirement of obtaining a U.S. security clearance or meeting these access requirements. These requirements are only tied to this specific job posting. Responsibilities:

  • Support research and basic analysis of:
  • Company financials.
  • Market size and growth trends.
  • Customer positioning.
  • Product and service portfolios.
  • Competitive dynamics.
  • Assist in evaluating organic and inorganic growth opportunities in the U.S. government and aerospace markets.
  • Build clean Excel worksheets and help with financial and market models under guidance.
  • Draft and refine slides; support presentations for senior leaders and investment professionals.
  • Track industry and competitor updates; help maintain internal databases and summaries.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, coursework, or student projects welcome.
  • Strong Excel fundamentals (functions, pivot tables); eagerness to learn financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint; ability to create clear, concise, persuasive slides.
  • Solid research and writing skills; can synthesize findings into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated interest in aerospace, defense, and U.S. government markets (familiarity with budgets or commercial aerospace trends is a plus).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Professional communication and teamwork; comfort supporting client-facing work.
