Principal Business Integration Analyst(SAP PP)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Business Integration Analyst (SAP PP) based in India.

In this role, you will take a strategic and hands-on leadership position in shaping and delivering SAP S/4HANA Production Planning solutions that support large-scale, global manufacturing operations. You will act as a key connector between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP PP solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and shop floor performance. The position involves leading end-to-end SAP implementations while driving continuous improvement across production planning and supply chain processes. You will work in a highly collaborative, global environment where innovation, operational excellence, and digital transformation are central priorities. This role also offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-level architecture decisions and contribute to next-generation manufacturing capabilities. You will engage with advanced SAP technologies and integration landscapes while supporting critical business operations in a high-impact industrial setting.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) implementations, from solution design through deployment, stabilization, and hypercare support.
  • Translate complex manufacturing and business requirements into scalable SAP PP solutions aligned with shop floor and production processes.
  • Configure and optimize SAP PP functionalities including MRP Live, capacity planning, advanced planning, and shop floor control.
  • Drive cross-functional integration with SAP modules such as MM, QM, SD, PM, IM/EWM, and FI/CO to ensure seamless enterprise processes.
  • Lead workshops, gather requirements, define best practices, and support solution design aligned with global manufacturing standards.
  • Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot production planning issues and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders while mentoring junior team members.
  • Requirements:

    This role requires deep expertise in SAP Production Planning within large-scale SAP S/4HANA environments, particularly in complex manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate combines strong functional knowledge with leadership capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in global transformation programs.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
    • 8+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), with strong S/4HANA exposure.
    • Proven experience in at least 2–3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
    • Strong expertise in MRP Live, capacity planning, advanced planning, and shop floor execution.
    • Hands-on experience in SAP PP configuration, business process analysis, and system customization.
    • Knowledge of integration with MM, QM, SD, PM, IM/EWM, and FI/CO modules.
    • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Fiori, data migration, and embedded analytics.
    • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
