Fullstack Engineer II - Conversational Analytic

The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers.

You’ll join the Platform team, focused on building AI-native conversational analytics experiences that help teams across Spotify explore, understand, and act on data more intuitively. We’re rethinking how people interact with analytics by combining modern fullstack engineering with LLM-powered interfaces. This is a highly collaborative environment where engineers, product, and data partners work closely to shape the future of internal data experiences.



What You'll Do

  • Build and ship end-to-end features for conversational analytics products, from backend services to intuitive frontend interfaces
  • Design and develop AI-native workflows that allow users to query and explore data using natural language
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data teams to turn complex problems into simple, scalable solutions
  • Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Integrate LLMs and other AI capabilities into production systems in a responsible and thoughtful way
  • Improve developer experience and tooling to enable faster iteration and experimentation
  • Take ownership of features from idea through launch and iteration, focusing on real user impact
  • Who You Are

  • You have experience building fullstack applications using modern frameworks and technologies
  • You are comfortable working across backend and frontend systems, and enjoy owning problems end-to-end
  • You have experience with APIs, distributed systems, and data-driven applications
  • You understand how to design clean, maintainable, and scalable code
  • You are curious about AI/ML and have worked with or are excited to work with LLM-powered systems
  • You care about user experience and strive to make complex workflows feel simple and intuitive
  • You have 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and value shared ownership

  • This role is based in Stockholm
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
