As a member of our growing DevOps Engineering team, you responsibility is the day to day development and continuous enhancement, in order to meet the demands of our business. To be successful, you must have an automation-first mindset and deep expert knowledge in one of the core technical domains of our platform (Cloud Services, DevOps/Automation, Software-defined storage/backup, Software-defined networks, IAM, CMDB) as well as sound knowledge in one of the other areas listed below. In your role, you are part of a scrum development team and build services jointly with members of other disciplines.

We are looking for DevOps Engineer to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team. Areas of impact: DevOps
Define competitive end-to-end solutions together with top experts from different teams in an international environment.
Develop automated software delivery process as part of the DevOps Cloud Solutions Team
As part of our dynamic and agile team, ensure robustness, performance and security aspects within the architecture design
Ensure that our solutions fit smoothly into our customers’ IT environments
As part of our dynamic and agile team, ensure robustness, performance and security aspects within the architecture design.
On top, identify dependencies and drive technical requirements clarification with stakeholders across customers, Airbus and Tier1s to ensure a coherent end-to-end solution.
Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in enterprise network technologies as well as experience working in complex IT environments.
Sound understanding of virtualization techniques and hypervisor environments.
Experience in scripting and DevOps tools and techniques such as GitLab CI, Ansible and Terraform.
Knowledge in Kubernetes architectures is considered as a strong advantage.
Strong system-level troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve high-level scalability and performance issues.
Awareness of security threats and corresponding security know-how.
Excellent communication skills to address needs and propose solutions towards customers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency with at least four of the following areas:
✔ Ansible
✔ DevOps Tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Ansible Tower, …)
✔ Infrastructure as Code / Configuration as Code
✔ Kubernetes / OCP / Rancher / Docker
✔ Databases (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, …)
✔ Programming Languages (Python, Ruby, …)
✔ Privileged Access Management solutions
∙ Expert knowledge in one of the following areas and solid knowledge in a second one:
✔ DevOps/Automation
✔ Infrastructure (Compute, Network, Storage/Backup)
✔ IAM
✔ CMDB
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of customer service.
Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines.
