The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,300 - $181,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.

Position reports to the Google Seattle, WA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Engineer-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Network Engineer-related occupation.
  • Position requires 1 year of experience in the following: Datacenters and Telecommunication network design and optimization. Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) for exchanging routing information between autonomous systems. Interior Gateway Protocols (IGP) including Intermediate System to Intermediate System (IS-IS) or Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) or Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) based Ethernet Virtual Private Network (EVPN). Network troubleshooting to resolve interruptions using established procedures and tools. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification required.
