This role offers the opportunity to own and evolve enterprise Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes within a complex, fast-paced B2B and B2C environment. You will act as a key technical leader for Salesforce CPQ, designing scalable solutions that directly impact sales efficiency, pricing accuracy, and revenue operations. The position involves deep collaboration with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, and Marketing to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures. You will be responsible for shaping CPQ strategy, improving system performance, and ensuring platform scalability and governance. In addition to solution design, you will lead integrations, automation, and advanced pricing logic implementation. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on Salesforce expert who thrives in solving complex business problems through technology.
Accountabilities:
- Design and implement scalable Salesforce CPQ solutions to support complex product catalogs, bundling, pricing structures, renewals, and amendments.
- Build and maintain advanced pricing logic including Price Rules, discount schedules, conditional logic, and dynamic pricing models using custom lookup tables.
- Serve as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert for Salesforce CPQ, guiding stakeholders and development teams on architecture and best practices.
- Configure and optimize Salesforce features such as Flows, validation rules, Lightning pages, and page layouts to support end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Lead requirements gathering workshops and solution design sessions, translating business needs into scalable CPQ solutions.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems such as ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and CLM platforms using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Perform complex data analysis and extraction using SOQL, Data Loader, and Workbench to ensure data integrity and support business insights.
- Monitor CPQ platform performance, licensing, and data quality to ensure scalability and operational efficiency.
- Manage CI/CD-based deployments across sandbox and production environments, ensuring release stability and governance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align CPQ solutions with broader business and revenue objectives.
- Maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and CPQ best practice guidelines.
- Leverage modern developer productivity tools and explore AI-assisted development practices where applicable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience with at least 3+ years focused on Salesforce CPQ implementation and administration.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes, including quoting, pricing, contracting, renewals, and amendments.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce CPQ objects, Product Rules, Pricing Rules, Advanced Approvals, Quote Templates, and data models.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform capabilities, limitations, and governance best practices.
- Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with enterprise systems such as ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and CLM platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong technical skills in configuration, automation, and data management within Salesforce.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience facilitating workshops and leading solution design discussions.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy, system performance, and scalability.
- Ability to work effectively aligned with EST time zone requirements.
