As the Manager for ADAS Feature Systems Engineering, you will spearhead the development and delivery of Ford’s global portfolio of driver-assist technologies, including BlueCruise, Pre-Collision Assist, Visualization, and Trailering features. This leadership role serves as the interface between digital design and technical execution. It requires seamless collaboration with software, validation, safety, and legal teams to ensure every feature is robust, compliant, and intuitively integrated. By driving technical rigor through the entire System-V and championing a culture of continuous process improvement and mentorship, you will be instrumental in upskilling the next generation of engineers. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems, or Computer engineering or related degree
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in ADAS, Aerospace, or Automotive development
Minimum 5 years of experience with products in mass production
Minimum 2 years of experience in requirement authoring and failure mode avoidance
Minimum 2 years experience in process development for regulated products
Even better, you may have...
10+ years of experience with System’s Engineering, covering Design, Requirements, and Analysis
5+ years of experience with Automotive Product Development Cycles (e.g. Ford’s GPDS)
10+ years of experience with ADAS Perception, Sensing, or Controls
Experience leading delivery of products across global markets
Strong communication skills and ability to influence outside of direct reports
Familiarity with global regulatory environment for ADAS features
Experience in championing change involving influencing indirect organizations
