The Google Cloud Partner Principal Architect role is a hybrid technical and business advisor role. In this role, you will act as a Google Cloud Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for one or more priority Global Systems Integrators (GSIs), embody executive-level qualities, lead the conversation, and direct the execution of the joint business plan by combining both technical goal and business insight. You are the ecosystem peer to Google Cloud's Lead Platform CEs and Principal Architects (PAs). You will own the technical capability, overarching enterprise architecture, and multi-year bets of the GSI tasked with delivering those solutions. Partner Principal Architects partner heavily with the EMEA Partner Development Manager responsible for these GSIs to articulate the true total value of each technical solution and execute impactful engagements across EMEA sub-regions and countries.

Operating at the Principal level, you will report directly to the Head of Partner Architecture GSIs and Strategic Partnerships EMEA.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Experience with modern artificial intelligence (AI) paradigms, generative AI, and data technologies, including experience reviewing technical solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with structured enterprise architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
  • Verticalized knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate a solution consisting of multiple products.
  • Ability to drive and influence audiences and identify expansion engagements within accounts.
  • Ability to drive and influence GSI audiences, identify expansion engagements within partner accounts, and ensure accelerated agreement velocity with zero partner-delivery escalations on GSI-led delivery mega-agreements.
