What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning, forecasting and reporting support across the organization. This role combines strategic financial planning and analysis management with operational finance responsibilities, ensuring robust financial planning, compliance, and decision support. You will partner closely with all functions of the business, senior leadership, and regional stakeholders to drive financial insights, maintain strong internal controls, and support business performance.

Business Partnering & Performance Management

  • Partner with Business Unit leaders and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and business performance.

  • Communicate financial results, trends and business implications to stakeholders across the organization.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support preparation and co-ordination of budgets, forecasts, latest estimates and long-range plans

  • Provide financial insights, and analysis to support business decision‑making, identify risks, opportunities and recommendations to resource allocation priorities

  • Monitor financial performance through analysis of revenues, expenses and key business drivers, and deliver management reporting.

Finance Operations, Governance & Compliance back up when necessary

  • Support/back up financial close, reporting, compliance and control activities in partnership with Accounting, Shared Services and external providers.

  • Support/back up key finance administration processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective management of business operations.

  • Support/back up tax compliance including income tax, GST, and FBT

What we expect of you

Required qualifications and experience

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 5+ years relevant FP&A and accounting experience

  • Strong financial modelling and analysis capability

  • Experience in financial close and reporting processes

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred qualifications and experience

  • CA/CPA qualification or equivalent

  • Experience in multinational or matrix environments in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry

  • Experience with SAP, Hyperion or similar systems

  • SOX and internal controls experience

  • Understanding of Australia taxation requirements
