Sr. Associate, Strategic Investments
Job Summary
The Strategic Investments team leads mergers, acquisitions, and minority investments across Comcast’s Connectivity & Platforms business. The team works closely with leaders across the company to evaluate opportunities that strengthen product strategy, unlock new revenue, and improve the customer experience. Investments range from early-stage technology companies to large-scale acquisitions across areas such as advertising, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, connected home, streaming, and wireless technologies.Job Description
As Sr. Associate, Strategic Investments, you will play a hands-on role across the full investment lifecycle. Working within a lean, highly collaborative team, you will lead opportunity evaluation from early diligence through deal execution, develop clear investment perspectives, and translate complex analysis into concise recommendations for senior executives and the investment committee. This role partners closely with business leaders, founders, investors, and internal experts to assess strategic fit, financial impact, and long-term value. In addition to transaction work, you will help shape the team’s strategic priorities by identifying emerging trends and mentoring junior team members to raise the quality and pace of work.
Core Responsibilities
Lead evaluation of potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships by developing investment theses, build-versus-buy analyses, and financial models
Form and defend a clear point of view on valuation, strategic fit, synergies, and risks using financial, market, and competitive insights
Prepare and present executive-ready materials that clearly communicate trade-offs, scenarios, and recommendations
Support end-to-end transaction execution in partnership with Corporate Development and Legal, including diligence planning and issue identification
Identify and advance new investment themes and targets aligned with business strategy and industry trends
Support portfolio value creation through performance tracking and coordination with internal stakeholders
Mentor and review work produced by junior team members, ensuring clarity, rigor, and consistency
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
Generally requires 5-7 years related experience
Ideally a background in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or Management Consulting
