As a Manager in Finance Transformation (CMAAS), you will lead projects related to design, optimization and digitization of finance operating models. You will manage workstreams across core finance processes, selection and implementation of finance applications and software, and enablement of cloud, automation, visualization, and emerging AI use cases in finance. With a primary focus on processes and state-of-the-art technology, you will also help clients address complex accounting challenges while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. 

In this role, you will combine strong project management and team leadership with deep finance transformation knowledge. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and contribute to business development and practice growth. 

Key Responsibilities in Finance Transformation Engagements 

  • Assess current-state finance processes and controls, identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization. 
  • Help clients accelerate close, intercompany reconciliations, consolidation processes, management reporting, while improving transparency, and governance. 
  • Drive collaboration across key operational domains such as R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, and payroll. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve master data quality and governance. 
  • Design target operating models, while prioritizing strong control environment and ongoing regulatory compliance. 
  • Enable digitization, automation, enhanced analytics, and state-of-art reporting. 
  • Identify high-value AI use cases and support their piloting and adoption. 

Contribute to CMAAS Practice Growth 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to finance leaders. 
  • Lead transformation projects and workstreams, ensuring high-quality outcomes, timely execution, and strong client satisfaction. 
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure scalable, practical, and sustainable solutions. 
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and coach junior team members, fostering talent development, accountability, and collaboration. 
  • Contribute to the development of PwC’s finance transformation offerings strategy, and methodologies. 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Professionals with 6+ years of experience in financial audit, financial controlling, accounting, consulting, or finance transformation projects. 
  • Working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP principles and their application. 
  • Strong understanding of business processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, payroll), internal controls, and operating model design. 
  • Hands-on experience with one or more finance-related technologies: ERP, accounting/consolidation software, BI/analytics tools. 
  • Data and digital skills: Advanced Excel is required. Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Python, or similar is a plus; Familiarity with cloud/SaaS and API concepts will be highly regarded. 
  • Strong project and team management, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and with other stakeholders. 
  • Fluency in English is essential.
