This senior-level role sits within a dynamic corporate accounting environment, supporting high-impact financial decision-making across complex operations. The position focuses on advanced financial analysis, cash forecasting, and strategic reporting that informs leadership decisions at scale. You will develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, enabling accurate forecasting, capital planning, and scenario analysis. The role plays a key part in identifying financial trends, risks, and opportunities through KPI and variance analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Acting as a trusted financial partner, you will present insights to senior stakeholders and contribute directly to strategic planning and organizational performance. This is a fully remote role with flexibility across multiple U.S. states and offers exposure to large-scale, mission-driven financial operations.
Accountabilities:
- Lead advanced financial analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives, capital planning, and organizational objectives, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for cash forecasting, treasury management, budgeting, and scenario planning.
- Perform KPI tracking, benchmarking, and variance analysis to identify financial trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Oversee budgeting processes, cost accounting activities, and productivity analysis while recommending process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory frameworks, including government reimbursement rules such as Medicare/Medicaid.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional financial projects, including reconciliations, program evaluations, and business assessments.
- Serve as a financial systems and technical accounting resource while mentoring and supporting junior accounting staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting, with exposure to leadership or project coordination responsibilities.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and advanced analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements, with experience in healthcare finance preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise financial systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for leadership.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while handling confidential information with discretion.
- Competitive compensation within a range of $41.10 – $61.65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
