FP&A Analyst

This role sits at the core of financial planning and analysis, supporting strategic decision-making through robust forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking. You will work on complex financial models, ensuring leadership has clear visibility into business performance and key drivers. The environment is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and align financial inputs. Accountabilities:

Responsible for supporting end-to-end financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, while ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting cycles. The role involves maintaining financial models, conducting variance analysis, and partnering with business teams to validate assumptions and improve forecasting quality. You will also support cash flow tracking, indirect rate analysis, and management reporting, ensuring leadership receives timely and reliable insights. In addition, you will contribute to process improvements, reporting automation, and the optimization of financial data workflows using tools such as Excel and BI platforms. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to support process stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Execute budgeting and forecasting cycles and support financial statement analysis
  • Maintain and enhance financial models, including scenario and trend analysis
  • Perform variance analysis to identify key business drivers and performance gaps
  • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Track cash flow performance and support project-level financial analysis
  • Assist in indirect rate analysis and financial impact assessments
  • Partner with business teams to gather inputs and validate financial assumptions
  • Drive reporting automation and process improvements using Excel and BI tools
  • Work with large datasets to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting and financial planning, with hands-on experience in FP&A activities such as budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, building financial models, and performing detailed variance and trend analysis. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Experience with financial systems and BI tools is highly valued, as is exposure to ERP or EPM platforms. Effective communication skills are important, as the role involves frequent interaction with cross-functional stakeholders. A continuous improvement mindset and adaptability to changing business needs are key for success.

    • Professional qualification (CA, CWA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in finance/accounting
    • 2+ years of relevant experience (or extensive experience for non-qualified profiles) in FP&A or finance roles
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
    • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
    • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Power BI, EPM tools, or similar platforms preferred
    • Ability to work with large datasets and automate reporting processes
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
    • Experience in multinational or shared services environments is a plus
