Job Description:
What You’ll Do
Own the frontend architecture for a product domain. Driving decisions across state management, data/streaming layers, component systems, and performance optimization for one or more major surfaces.
Ship product, not just code. Partner directly with PLM and Design to shape what gets built. Shape scope, architect solutions, and own outcomes(adoption, latency, task-completion) rather than ticket throughput.
Promote modern development practices. AI assisted workflows, DX improvements, and engineering tooling that improve the baseline of the whole team.
Mentor senior and mid-level engineers across LA and Bengaluru, raise the review bar, and turn one-off solutions into reusable patterns, libraries, and docs.
Reduce systemic risk. Identify the load-bearing parts of the codebase, drive down tech debt strategically, and improve testing, observability, and release confidence for the frontend.
Build data-rich visualizations (D3, Highcharts, etc.)
Develop real-time UI (live views, Chatbot, dashboards) using REST & WebSockets
Help the team evolve from Monolith to Micro-frontend architecture.
Required Qualifications
What you will bring :
8+ years building production frontend, with a track record of owning complex, data-intensive web applications (React/TypeScript or equivalent)
Deep expertise in modern front-end architecture: state management at scale, real-time/streaming data, performance optimization, and component-system design.
Experience shipping product, not just executing specs: you’ve influenced what got built and can point to outcomes you owned
Experience mentoring engineers and elevating standards on a team
Strong experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress
Experience with modern build and packaging tools:
Webpack, Vite, or similar
Monorepo and dependency management patterns
Strong understanding of web accessibility (WCAG, ARIA)
Preferred Qualifications
Background in networking, observability, or telemetry platforms
Experience with micro-frontend migrations (Module Federation, etc.)
Familiarity with D3, Highcharts, or similar visualization tools
Exposure to chatbot or conversational UI experiences
Experience with modern automation testing frameworks like Playwright or Cypress.
What Makes You a Great Fit
You bring deep technical expertise, not just familiarity
You are a hands-on architect who writes high-quality production code
You think in terms of systems, scalability, and long-term design
You elevate others through mentorship and technical leadership
You care deeply about quality, accessibility, and developer experience
You embrace modern tooling, automation, and AI-assisted development
