What you will do
Contribute to the design and implementation of core backend and platform capabilities for the Plaud Developer Platform, supporting both Partner and Third-Party integrations — working closely with senior engineers throughout
Learn and apply best practices in OAuth authorization, access control, and multi-tenant architecture under guidance
Help build and maintain standardized APIs, SDK interfaces, and developer onboarding workflows
Collaborate with product, device, and AI service teams to deliver cross-system solutions
Actively learn and apply AI tools to improve day-to-day engineering workflows — including documentation, testing, debugging, and code review
Continuously improve platform stability, performance, and developer experience as part of a team effort
Skills, qualifications and experience we look for
1 year of backend engineering experience, with exposure to platform or API development
Basic understanding of OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorization concepts — hands-on experience a plus
Some experience with API design or developer-facing tooling
Eagerness to learn in a complex, multi-system environment
Proactive attitude toward adopting AI tools to enhance personal productivity and engineering output
Good communication skills; comfortable working across teams
