Role Summary
Responsible for piping design and field engineering with specialized experience in firewater systems (hydrants, monitors, deluge, sprinkler networks) according to SAES‑B and NFPA standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review piping layouts, isometrics, P&IDs, stress analysis, valve lists, and material specifications.
- Design and review firewater piping networks per SAES‑B‑017, NFPA 13/15/24, and relevant standards.
- Prepare MTOs, material requisitions, and technical evaluations for valves, piping materials, and fire systems.
- Provide technical support during construction, hydrotesting, tie-ins, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Resolve site issues by responding to TQs, RFI, and modification requests.
- Participate in HAZOP, 3D model reviews, and safety sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–12 years’ piping engineering experience, including fire system design.
- Strong knowledge of SAES‑B, ASME B31.3, NFPA fire standards, and Aramco engineering workflows.
