Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is looking for you to join our team as a Software Systems Integration Engineer - Level 5 based out of Aurora, CO.
This position requires being onsite and does not support remote or hybrid work.
Job responsibilities:
Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule, and cost constraints
Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for completing systems
Coordinates integrated testing activities
Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program
Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations
Basic Qualifications:
Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
Bachelor's degree with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; 8 years of relevant experience with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience with commercial off the shelf and custom software installation
Understanding of, and experience in, investigating log files and software/infrastructure issues
Ability to create a lightweight configuration management process
Ability to troubleshoot in a Linux environment
Experience with GIT Lab
Must have Sec+ certification or equivalent prior to start
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with command-and-control systems and software
Experience integrating software and hardware
