Aurora Medical Center Washington County offers high-quality, patient centered care across two med/surg units, providing a supportive and collaborative environment for nurses at all stages of their careers.

Both units care for a general Medical/Surgical patient population, offering nurses a broad and rewarding clinical experience that supports strong foundational skills and ongoing professional growth.

Our Medical/Surgical teams are known for their strong RN tenure, reflecting a culture where nurses feel valued, supported, and engaged. Nurses work closely with physicians, interdisciplinary partners, and leadership in an environment built on mutual respect, strong communication, and teamwork.

The units are supported by nurses who demonstrate strong work ethics, accountability, and pride in their practice. We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
