Job Title: Pilot Plant Logistic Specialist

Location: Brussels

The Research and Development center located in Brussels is one of the main R&D centers of the Coca‐Cola Company. We oversee the development of new beverages (CSD, juices, iced teas, water, dairy…), packages and retail equipment innovation for Europe, Eurasia, Middle East and Africa. The Pilot Plant is critically important part of the R&D center.

We are looking for a Logistic Specialist to execute operations planning and to manage the stocks of multiple SKU´s.  This role is an individual contributor, reporting to Pilot Plant Manager.

What You’ll Do for Us:

  • Production planning, in alignment with Product Developers, QSE Supervisor and Pilot Plant Manager.       
  • Ensure that the production plan is based on development teams demand as well as the resources of the pilot plant including personnel, equipment, raw materials and packaging
  • Update the production plan whenever needed and ensure clear communication of the updates.
  • Scheduling production preparation and production debrief meetings.
  • Monitor the storage areas to ensure SOP’s are followed and the stock is accurate in the ERP, take corrective actions and propose improvement plans
  • Assist Pilot plant in productions, this to ensure firsthand experience of production limitations
  • Manage the cleaning routine of Pilot plants and lab with external service provider.
  • Regular checking and replenishment of common stock of ingredients, packaging, and PPE, following up invoices of suppliers to be duly settled to avoid disruptions. Monitoring of procurement related OPEX budget.
  • Maintenance of the GMP and Safety Standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 1-3 year experience, quality or production related experiences
  • Educational requirements / qualifications: Master or Post-Graduate
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language is a plus.
