Nursing Assistant F/T Day Endocrinology

Job Summary
Maintains flow of patients through treatment areas. Ensures exam room preparation for patient treatment. Performs limited specimen collection and laboratory testing under supervision.Essential Functions

Prepares patients for examination and treatment.
Escorts patients/guardians to exam rooms.
Cleans exam rooms between patient visits to ensure preparedness for incoming patients.
Maintains supply inventory in each exam room. Requisitions the purchase of replacement stock as requested.
Obtains patients' temperature, height, weight and vitals, as requested.
Performs selected specimen collection and laboratory analysis, as indicated.
Utilizes autoclave to sterilize medical instruments.
Assembles admission information packets for distribution to patients.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - High School diploma.
Experience - One (1) year experience preferred
