Medical Education Manager, EMEA
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Medical Education professional to support and deliver medical education activities across the EMEA region.
In this role, you will focus on the development and execution of high-quality education programmes for healthcare professionals, working closely with cross-functional teams and external clinical partners.
Reporting to the Director of Medical Education (USA), you will play an important part in delivering engaging and compliant educational initiatives across multiple markets. This is a collaborative, hands-on role with regional exposure, ideal for someone who enjoys both programme delivery and clinical engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Regional Ownership
Spearhead and own the EMEA Medical Education strategy, ensuring alignment with global priorities and regional business needs
Translate strategic objectives into measurable, high-impact education programmes across multiple markets
Act as the regional subject matter expert, providing insight into clinical and educational needs across EMEA
Programme Delivery & Execution
Develop and implement innovative, omnichannel medical education programmes for healthcare professionals (HCPs)
Establish best-in-class models through collaboration with academic institutions, key opinion leaders, and third parties
Continuously evaluate new delivery approaches to enhance engagement and effectiveness
Deliver programmes across different formats, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid learning
Ensure all activities are aligned with clinical needs and business priorities
Stakeholder & Faculty Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with external clinical experts and faculty
Support speaker onboarding, coordination, and engagement activities
Oversee physician contracting and fair market value processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to support the delivery of education programmes
Contribute to aligning educational activities with broader product and clinical messaging
Collaborate with regional and global colleagues to share insights and best practices
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all education activities are delivered in line with medical, legal, and compliance standards
Support processes such as contracting and documentation in collaboration with internal teams
Follow established governance frameworks for all programmes
Programme Tracking & Improvement
Support tracking of programme effectiveness using agreed metrics
Gather feedback to help improve future education activities
Contribute ideas to enhance engagement and delivery approaches
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a medical education professional with strong delivery experience and a collaborative approach. This role would suit someone who enjoys working across teams and engaging with clinical stakeholders.
You may come from backgrounds such as:
Medical education, clinical training, or healthcare education
Roles supporting HCP engagement programmes or clinical training
Experience within MedTech, pharma, or healthcare environments
Skills & Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a Clinical field
Experience in medical education, healthcare training, or a related field
Experience supporting or delivering education programmes or events
Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities effectively
Preferred
Experience within oncology and/or MedTech
Exposure to events, or speaker engagement
