GENERAL SUMMARY:
Corewell Health is seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) for our comprehensive breast surgery program in the ambulatory setting. The APP will provide independent outpatient care for patients with benign and malignant breast conditions at both The Wolpin Comprehensive Breast Care Center at William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak and at Gross Pointe Hospital Breast Care Center.
This role involves evaluating patients, obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans in collaboration with breast surgeons, coordinating diagnostic testing and follow up care, providing patient education, and supporting patients through their breast care journey.
The APP will work independently in a clinic Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, managing a full outpatient schedule while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced ambulatory environment. Prior experience in breast surgery, oncology, woman's health or surgical specialty is preferred but motivated and hardworking candidates without previous breast care experience and new graduates will be considered.
