COTA Duties Include:
- COTA will work as part of the therapy team and under the guidance of an OT
- COTA will select therapy activities to fit Residents' needs and capabilities.
- COTA will assist Residents in carrying out daily activities.
- COTA will monitor Residents' performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement.
- COTA will teach Residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function.
- COTA will work in collaboration with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan.
- COTA will supervise Residents' activities to ensure they are done properly.
- COTA will report the Resident's progress to the OT.
- COTA will handle administrative and clerical tasks for therapy team.

OTA Requirements Include:
- A graduate of an accredited COTA Program
- Current COTA License
- Experience in long-term-care settings preferred
