We're looking for a Contract Recruiter to help scale hiring across technical and go-to-market teams. You'll partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to identify, engage, and close exceptional talent while helping us maintain a high hiring bar during a period of rapid growth.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, can independently drive searches from kickoff through offer stage, and enjoys working on difficult-to-fill roles.
You'll play a critical role in helping Retell attract world-class talent across engineering, product, AI/ML, sales, customer success, and operations.
Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and build sourcing strategies
Source and engage high-quality candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and outbound recruiting efforts
Manage candidates throughout the interview process and ensure an exceptional candidate experience
Conduct recruiter screens and assess candidate fit
Coordinate closely with interviewers and hiring managers to drive efficient hiring decisions
Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate data within the ATS
Develop creative approaches to attract top talent in highly competitive markets
Help improve recruiting processes, interview workflows, and hiring operations
You have 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
You have experience recruiting for technical, product, AI/ML, or GTM roles
You are highly organized and can manage multiple searches simultaneously
You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable operating with limited structure
You have strong written and verbal communication skills
You enjoy building relationships with candidates and hiring managers
You are excited about startups and high-growth environments
You have a track record of successfully filling difficult or specialized roles
Compensation: $35–$45 USD per hour + Placement Bonus
Location: Fully Remote (can work anywhere in the world)
Engagement Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Hours: 40 hours per week depending on hiring volume - Must be available and able to work primarily during Pacific Time (PT/PST) business hours to collaborate closely with hiring managers and interview teams.
Contract Length: Initial 3–6 month engagement with potential extension based on business needs and performance
