The Opportunity
As the Lead, Global Compensation Systems & Analytics, you will act as the strategic owner of Ford’s global compensation planning cycles within Oracle HCM. This is not a purely systems-focused role—it is a high-impact position for a data-driven problem solver who can translate complex compensation structures into intuitive digital experiences and actionable insights.
Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will partner closely with Global Regional Compensation Leads and HR IT teams to ensure Ford’s total rewards strategy is executed with accuracy, consistency, and strategic insight across regions.
The Role
You will lead the end-to-end delivery of 15+ global compensation plans within Oracle HCM Workforce Compensation. Beyond execution, you will analyse data trends, identify optimisation opportunities, and provide leadership with clear, insight-led recommendations to support critical talent investment decisions.
Strategic Compensation Systems Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end configuration, delivery, and governance of Oracle HCM Workforce Compensation plans.
- Design, model, audit, and interface global compensation awards in alignment with Ford’s compensation strategy.
- Partner with HR IT teams to define system requirements, drive enhancements, and resolve complex issues.
Analytics & Executive Storytelling
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards that visualise historical and current compensation trends.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, executive-level insights that inform future plan design and investment decisions.
Consultative Partnership
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Regional Compensation Leads, providing strategic guidance throughout planning cycles.
- Lead After‑Action Reviews to identify process, system, and experience improvements and ensure actions are implemented.
Process Innovation & Optimisation
- Co-create new compensation plans, tools, and guidance materials to improve the People Leader experience.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Governance & Compliance
- Serve as the primary contact for compensation audits.
- Ensure full compliance with Ford Records Retention Policies and applicable global regulatory requirements.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree (MBA, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or related field) preferred
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Total Rewards, Compensation Planning, Compensation Plan Design, or Global Compensation Structure
Demonstrated experience supporting or leading global or regional compensation cycles
Technical Expertise
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM or comparable enterprise platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors); Workforce Compensation experience strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (or equivalent analytics tools) with the ability to build insight-driven dashboards
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for complex data modelling and analysis
Exposure to analytics automation or AI-enabled tools is an advantage (not mandatory)
