The People Relations & Compliance (PRC) Lead is responsible for leading global Employee Relations (ER), Labor Relations (LR), and HR Compliance functions. This role owns the strategic direction, governance, and delivery model across all three pillars, ensuring consistent, compliant, and business-aligned practices globally, as a unified, high-impact People Relations & Compliance Center of Excellence (CoE).
The PRC Lead acts as a trusted advisor to senior executive leadership on complex people matters, driving resolution of high-risk and high-visibility cases while strengthening compliance frameworks and proactive risk mitigation. This role partners closely with People Leadership teams, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Legal, and business leaders to deliver a scalable, efficient, and future-ready operating model.
As People Relations & Compliance Lead, you will:
Lead Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR Compliance pillars under a single People Relations & Compliance CoE model
Lead PRC transformation and operating model, governance, and RACI across global, regional, and business-aligned teams
Drive standardization of policies, processes, and tools, ensuring global consistency with local flexibility
Lead resolution of complex, high-risk, and senior executive escalation cases, partnering closely with Legal and senior stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and People leaders on people risk, compliance, and organizational decisions
Enable clear ownership between PRC, HRBPs, and stakeholders, reducing duplication and improving delivery effectiveness
Partner across Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to ensure integrated, seamless delivery of people-related initiatives
Build, develop, and coach a high-performing PRC team, strengthening capabilities and future readiness
Leverage AI, automation, and data-driven insights to elevate the function, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-making
Drive a proactive, forward-looking approach to people risk and compliance, anticipating issues and enabling early intervention
Lead the transformation towards a strategic, customer-focused, and high-impact PRC function, simplifying processes and improving outcomes
To be selected for this role, you will also need to be/have:
Global organizational leadership experience / Extensive ER/LR/Compliance leadership experience in a global, matrixed environment
Proven track record managing senior executive escalations and high-risk employee relations cases
Strong compliance and legal acumen, with ability to interpret and operationalize complex regulatory requirements
Deep expertise in labor relations, including collective bargaining and workforce negotiations
Experience leading or operating within a Center of Excellence (CoE) model, including cross-functional coordination
Ability to operate strategically and operationally, balancing governance with execution
Proven ability to lead organizational transformation and drive change at scale
High degree of discretion and strict adherence to confidentiality.
Strong project and process management skills. Excellent planning, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills as well as the ability to handle competing priorities calmly under pressure and within restricted timeframes
Solid communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and the ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and management
Excellent relationship building and management, as well as leadership and influencing skills (particularly at Executive Level)
Education and Experience
A minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience across different HR functions, specifically including Employee Relations, Labor Relations & HR Compliance
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
