The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner working remotely out of Nashville, TN.

As a dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work collaboratively to develop and maintain ongoing relationships and partnerships with hiring leaders, candidate pools, peer partners, and third-party vendors to deliver candidates for USAA's hiring needs. Assists management team to implement sourcing strategies to proactively identify candidates and assemble diverse pipeline of talent for open positions.

This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office will be expected to work on-site four days per week.

What you'll do:

  • Identifies and builds community partnerships to generate candidates in alignment with organization's hiring and program objectives.

  • Performs full life cycle recruiting utilizing various recruitment methods.

  • Guides hiring managers through the recruitment process to ensure compliance within external and internal regulatory agencies.

  • May participate in recruitment/networking events in support of military, diversity and niche expertise.

  • Serves as team member on staffing projects and initiatives impacting enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition strategies.

  • Participates in process efficiency and process improvement for Talent Acquisition.

  • Acquires and applies maturing knowledge of relevant human resources discipline(s), specifically employment law, policy and procedure.

  • Provides solutions and identifies appropriate issues for escalation.

  • Follows through on all submitted candidates in a timely manner and ensures that the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) is kept up to date in real time and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Regulatory requirements.

  • Keeps candidates continually informed with high-touch communication throughout the entire hiring process

  • May negotiate salary per job requisition within approved range maintaining a fiduciary responsibility to the company.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.

  • 5 years of high-volume recruitment in staffing, general human resources, and/or account relationship management, including knowledge of applicable employment laws, with current experience in financial services AND insurance.

  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and hiring practices.

  • Knowledge of effective screening and interviewing techniques.

  • Developing knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and other software to support sourcing tools and techniques.

What sets you apart:

  • 10 years of high-volume recruiting experience, including current experience within a financial services company focused on insurance-licensed roles.

  • US military experience gained through military service or gained as a military spouse / domestic partner.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $63,590 - $121,530.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

 

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
