Job Description
This role requires a strong generalist HR profile with solid knowledge of Italian labour law and HR processes, enabling you to tailor and align global Visa policies to local requirements. You will act as a key point of contact for ensuring legal compliance from an HR perspective, while contributing to the development and continuous improvement of local HR policies and practices.
What you’ll do:
As a trusted member of the People Team Europe, you’ll support employees and leaders in out Italian office with high-quality, practical HR advice, while collaborating closely with People Business Partners, Centres of Excellence, and global shared services.
Provide robust and thought through HR advice to employees and managers in Italy, ensuring guidance is compliant with local employment legislation
Accountable for areas which include but are not limited to coaching and guiding people leaders on individual talent development, annual compensation review, performance management, employee engagement, conflict resolution, and other policy interpretation and consultation
Contribute to the People organisation & client groups by developing and executing best practices promoting employee engagement and enabling a high-performing workforce to contribute to the company's strategic growth
Partner with People Business Partners and Centres of Excellence, e.g. on performance management, HR analytics, and employee relations
Deliver comprehensive analytics and insightful data interpretation to support informed business decision-making in accountability, while upholding operational excellence in reporting and data management
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives,
Draft, support with and implement local HR policies in collaboration with our Legal and Employee Relations team to ensure local compliance

Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
You’ll thrive in this role if you combine solid HR fundamentals with curiosity, structure, and a genuine interest in improving the employee experience
Demonstrated knowledge of local employment law, particularly within the Italy market
Experience providing policy guidance and coaching to managers and employees in a matrixed organization
High levels of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality with a people-first mindset
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Italian and English
Strong analytical skills, with confidence using data for informed decision-making
Experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow, or strong motivation to learn
Experience with AI-enabled tools or a strong interest in building AI capabilities
