Talent Acquisition Specialist

Buyers Edge Platform · Lake Worth, FL

About Buyers Edge Platform

Buyers Edge Platform stands at the forefront of revolutionizing the food service industry through technology, purchasing power and partnerships. We are dedicated to empowering stakeholders across the entire foodservice ecosystem (operators, distributors, manufacturers) with efficiency and unprecedented visibility. With a diverse portfolio of over a dozen brands, our mission is clear: to reduce costs, streamline the foodservice supply chain, and propel the industry from manual to automated.

Today, we are one of the largest players in foodservice, with over 200K operator locations across North America and over $50 billion of aggregated spend volume. Our commitment to food service excellence is proven in four distinct areas of value: Digital Procurement Network, Fresh Solutions, Supply Chain Management, and Software. Buyers Edge Platform is not just a provider – we are a strategic partner on the journey towards a more efficient, connected, and automated future for the foodservice industry.

This position is remotely based with a strong preference for South Florida based candidates.  We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who owns the full recruiting lifecycle, from first conversation to signed offer, across both technical and business functions. This is a high-impact, high-volume role built for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, leverages AI-powered tools to work smarter, and never lets speed come at the cost of quality or candidate experience.

You'll serve as a true talent partner to hiring managers across engineering, product, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, bringing strategic, consultative thinking to every search. You know how to push back when a job description undersells the role, challenge a hiring team when the bar needs recalibrating, and keep searches moving without losing rigor.

The ideal candidate has operated in both startup and enterprise recruiting environments and knows how to read the room, whether that means building process from scratch or navigating an existing one with finesse.

Your Impact

  • In this role, you won't just fill seats. You'll shape how the business grows. Here's what success looks like:
  • You'll build and maintain strong pipelines for roles across the organization, ensuring hiring managers always have a qualified, engaged slate to work from.
  • You'll act as a brand ambassador in every candidate interaction, leaving people with a positive impression of who we are, whether they get the job or not.
  • You'll bring structure and accountability to the hiring process, holding both candidates and internal stakeholders to timelines that keep searches on track.
  • You'll use data to tell the story of recruiting performance, surfacing insights that help leadership make smarter decisions about headcount, sourcing strategy, and interview process.
  • You'll be the person who spots a broken process and fixes it, not because someone asked, but because you can't help it.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, in both a corporate/ in-house setting as well as an agency.
  • Proven ability to recruit across both technical roles (engineering, product, data) and business/GTM functions
  • Experience recruiting at both a startup/high-growth company and a larger enterprise organization
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve recruiting workflows — you should be able to speak specifically to what you use and how
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and advise hiring managers at all levels
  • Comfortable managing a req load of 15–20 simultaneously without compromising candidate quality or experience
  • Self-directed, proactive, and capable of thriving with shifting priorities.
  • Recruitment experience working in large, multi-entity environments.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts — you don't wait to be asked, you figure it out
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different business units, hiring managers and cross functional partners.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience recruiting for SaaS or technology companies
  • Familiarity with foodservice, hospitality, or supply chain industries
  • Experience with modern ATS platforms and sourcing tools (DarwinBox. Greenhouse)
  • Exposure to data-driven recruiting practices, funnel metrics, or recruitment marketing
  • Located within 50 miles of Lake Worth, FL.

Location & Work Model

This role is based in South Florida. We prefer candidates who are local and able to come into the office as needed, though we're not requiring a fixed in-office schedule.

What's In This For You:

  • Great benefits from day one. We offer medical, dental, vision, FSA, company-paid life insurance, and more—plus a 401(k) with company match.
  • Grow with us. Enjoy strong training, development, and competitive pay.
  • Work-life balance. Our flexible PTO policy lets you take time when you need it—no accrual required.

We welcome all.

We are committed to creating a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and pregnancy-related conditions), gender identity or expression (including transgender status), sexual orientation, marital status, military service and veteran status, physical or mental disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws and ordinances.
