This role offers an exciting opportunity for an emerging HR professional to step into a consulting environment where variety, learning, and impact are part of every day. You will support a diverse portfolio of clients across Canada, helping them strengthen their people practices and build healthier workplace cultures. The position combines hands-on HR operations with advisory work, giving you exposure to employee relations, recruitment, policy development, and engagement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with experienced HR consultants who will mentor and support your growth. Accountabilities:
In this role, you will support a range of client-facing HR activities, acting as a trusted partner in delivering practical and effective people solutions. You will contribute to both day-to-day HR operations and longer-term organizational initiatives while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Provide day-to-day HR support to clients, including employee relations inquiries, policy updates, and general advisory assistance
- Participate in and support HR projects such as engagement programs, policy development, and organizational initiatives
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding processes, including coordination through HRIS and ATS platforms
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HR systems and tools to ensure operational efficiency
- Contribute to consulting engagements by managing priorities, deadlines, and client expectations effectively
- Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver tailored HR solutions across various industries
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and administrative support for ongoing client work
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of HR experience, including internships, co-op, or early professional roles
- Working toward or planning to pursue the CPHR designation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly
- Comfortable working with HR systems such as HRIS and ATS platforms
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a consulting-style environment
- A positive attitude and sense of humour, with a people-first mindset
- Competitive annual salary: CAD $63,000 – $75,000
- Remote-first work environment with occasional travel to client sites (Victoria/Vancouver region)
