HR Operations Advisor (LTG)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HR Operations Advisor (LTG) based in India.

This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality HR operational and advisory support across a global, multi-country workforce. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth employee lifecycle processes while maintaining compliance, consistency, and a strong employee experience. Acting as a first point of contact for HR operational and employee relations matters, you will support managers and employees with guidance across a wide range of HR topics. The position also involves close collaboration with HR Operations, Payroll, HR Advisory, and other shared services teams to ensure aligned and efficient service delivery. You will contribute to governance, documentation standards, and continuous improvement initiatives within an evolving HR operating model. This is a highly collaborative and structured environment where operational excellence and employee support go hand in hand.

Accountabilities:

  • Deliver HR operational support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contractual changes, and employee documentation
  • Coordinate payroll-impacting changes and ensure accurate communication with Payroll and HR Operations teams
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems data, and case documentation in line with compliance requirements
  • Manage absence and leave cases, including long-term sickness, parental leave, accommodations, and return-to-work processes
  • Support benefits administration, vendor coordination, billing reconciliation, and resolution of employee benefits queries
  • Provide first-line HR advisory support to managers and employees across topics such as absence, performance, conduct, wellbeing, and policy guidance
  • Support employee relations processes including documentation, meeting coordination, case tracking, and investigation support
  • Ensure adherence to HR governance frameworks, escalation procedures, and compliance standards
  • Contribute to HR reporting, audit readiness, and operational tracking requirements
  • Support organisational change activities such as restructures, workforce transitions, and internal communications
  • Facilitate coordination between HR Operations, Payroll, HRIS, and HR Advisory teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, SOP updates, and process optimization efforts
  • Requirements:

    • Experience in HR Operations, HR Advisory, Employee Relations, or HR Administration roles
    • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes in structured or shared services environments
    • Exposure to employee relations case management within governance and escalation frameworks
    • Experience supporting multi-country or international employee populations
    • Strong understanding of HR policies, compliance requirements, and employment legislation basics
    • Familiarity with HR systems and case management tools (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Oracle HCM is a plus)
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent attention to detail, documentation discipline, and process orientation
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Sound judgment with ability to escalate sensitive or complex matters appropriately
    • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
    • HR certification or equivalent experience is a plus
