This role plays a key part in supporting employees through all aspects of benefits administration, ensuring a smooth and accurate experience across health, retirement, wellness, and leave programs. You will act as a primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, helping employees understand their options while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The position involves a strong focus on data accuracy, HR system management, and responsive service delivery in a fast-paced HR environment. You will collaborate closely with HR teams to support enrollment cycles, policy updates, and employee communications. The role also contributes to reporting and process improvement initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. This is a highly detail-oriented position suited for someone who enjoys both administrative precision and employee-facing support work.
Accountabilities
This role is responsible for supporting the administration and day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality employee service.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and other benefits.
- Manage and resolve support requests through HR ticketing systems, escalating complex issues when needed.
- Process employee enrollments, terminations, and plan changes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update employee benefits data within HR Information Systems (HRIS).
- Support the development and distribution of clear communications regarding benefits programs, enrollment procedures, and policy updates.
- Generate reports and analyze benefits data to support HR decision-making and operational planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of benefits policies, ensuring consistency across all materials.
- Assist with open enrollment periods, employee events, and other HR initiatives as required.
Requirements
This position requires strong HR administration experience, attention to detail, and the ability to support employees with professionalism and accuracy.
- 2+ years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or a related human resources function.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programs, HR policies, and relevant employment regulations.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and benefits administration systems.
- Strong analytical and data management skills with high attention to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
- Preferred: experience in manufacturing environments and/or HR certifications or advanced HR education.
