Recruitment Coordinator (Japan and Korea)

The Talent Acquisition team support COS, & Other Stories, and Arket within the Portfolio. This team will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance business growth by effectively attracting, hiring, engaging, and retaining talent with the necessary skills to secure our future.

As a Recruitment Coordinator, you facilitate the hiring of talented and diverse colleagues that share out company values and ambition. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead you support and collaborate with the store hiring managers in your organization on recruitment best practices including I&D, candidate experience, recruitment processes and onboarding, contributing to the success of recruitment KPIs. This role will look after South Korea and Japan.
 

Job Description

  • Guide hiring managers on the best way to recruit, offer recommendations and provide them with useful insights. Secure their commitment to secure the right candidates are selected, within an agreed timeline contributing to the recruitment KPIs
  • Manage a professional end to end recruitment processes for sales advisor roles including the organisation of assessment centres in key cities, ensuring candidates receive quality feedback and the best possible experience​
  • Train and coach hiring managers on the best practice for a successful assessment centre
  • Ensure the timely adherence to established routines in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by following up with hiring managers for each specific job opening
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Partner with CV screening and organising interviews for store management positions
  • Follow up on KPIs, understand areas of strengths and opportunity, ensuring appropriate actions are being taken to improve time to fill as well as the candidate experience ​
  • Work with H&M Group HR colleagues within the region to stay informed, and build successful collaborations with regards to labour market insights, salary and benefits, as well as changes in employee relations/legal requirements
     

As a Recruitment Coordinator in a multi-brand network organization, you face various demands. Your strength lies in understanding stakeholders and involving them effectively. Additionally, your excellent communication skills allow you to adapt to the needs of the stakeholders you encounter.

You believe in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust. You are no stranger to giving feedback, providing inspiration, and motivating others in their day-to-day work. You are a self-starter, have a yes-we-can attitude and are comfortable with working with uncertainty, or limited information.

For this role, we are particularly interested in candidate who has:

  • Experience in volume hiring and working with recruitment KPIs
  • Working proficiency of English language skills, both verbal & written
  • Local language skills of your responsible markets are preferred
  • Experience of supporting others to grow by giving constructive feedback
  • Preferably experience in coaching and training store management team
  • The ability to prioritize and organize workload efficiently and finds fulfilment from routine/repetitive tasks
  • Result-oriented with a strong attention to administrative details and a proven ability to follow established processes.

This is a full time 1.5-year fixed term contract role for 40 hours a week, based within Korea, Seoul. The role reports to Talent Acquisition Lead.
