About the Team:
Invesco Real Estate (IRE) manages $90 billion of global investments in private real estate, global securities and real estate debt. With +600 employees and 20 offices worldwide, our professionals focus on top-down market fundamentals combined with bottom-up local market intelligence. Senior members of the management team have worked together for +25 years, contributing to the consistent implementation of Invesco’s investment strategy and resulting performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the asset management of a diversified portfolio of real estate investments across multiple Real Estate sectors, driving asset performance, value creation, and risk management.
Oversee leasing summary ensuring accuracy and integrity of leasing summaries, financial data, and asset-level reporting.
Provide market insights through continuous monitoring of industry trends, competitor activity, and macroeconomic developments to inform strategic decision-making.
Assist in reviewing key commercial documents, including lease agreements, budgets, capital expenditure proposals, and payments, ensuring alignment with internal governance and investment mandates.
Manage cash flow, budgets, and financial performance across portfolio assets, ensuring adherence to approved business plans and delivering on return targets.
Lead interactions with portfolio companies, property managers, and external partners, ensuring effective execution of asset strategies and compliance with fund requirements.
Partner with internal teams (investment, finance, legal, ESG) to deliver timely and accurate investor reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual), as well as support fundraising and investor communications where required.
In accordance with investment agreements and fund requirements, assist in advancing asset disposal-related activities.
Provide leadership on ESG initiatives, ensuring data collection, analysis, and reporting (including GRESB) are executed to a high standard and aligned with firm-wide priorities.
Lead asset divestment processes, including preparation of marketing materials, coordination with advisors, and execution support throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline from a reputable university; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
5+ years of relevant experience in asset management, real estate investment, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing real estate assets.
Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated ability to drive asset performance and execute value enhancement strategies.
Solid understanding of leasing, financial analysis, budgeting, and capital expenditure management within real estate portfolios.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders.
Strong leadership capability, with the ability to guide junior team members and drive execution across multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Highly driven, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
