Core Responsibilities

  • Drive and proactively manage commercial legal matters across the designated area of responsibility, with a primary focus on Türkiye and Central Asia markets in close collaboration with the CEEMEA General Counsel
  • Provide legal support to business functions, ensuring alignment with company policies, governance requirements, market priorities, and local legal regulations
  • Coordinate, draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements and legal documentation
  • Provide legal advice across various legal subject areas, including contract law, corporate law, employment law, marketing, and sales-related matters
  • Deliver regular commercial legal and compliance training and serve as the first point of contact for legal guidance in the Turkish market
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal partners and external legal counsel to ensure efficient legal support and risk management
  • Support knowledge sharing, best-practice exchange, and process optimization initiatives within the CEEMEA Legal, Compliance & Regulatory (LCR) team
  • Act as a trusted legal advisor for Türkiye and Central Asia markets while working closely with the CEEMEA General Counsel on strategic and operational legal matters

The Legal, Compliance & Regulatory (LCR) CEEMEA team is a regional legal function located across Billund, Prague, Kladno, Nyíregyháza, and Istanbul. The team consists of legal professionals supporting commercial legal counselling, legal operations, intellectual property enforcement, compliance, and business advisory activities across the region!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Master's degree in Law from a Turkish law school or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience gained in-house or in private practice within commercial legal counselling, corporate advisory, marketing, and sales-related legal areas
  • Extensive experience managing commercial legal matters and supporting business partners
  • Strong legal and business drafting skills
  • Strong track record in contract drafting, negotiation, legal advisory work, and partner management
  • Ability and willingness to continuously learn, develop new skills, and take ownership of legal matters
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to act as the first line of legal support for commercial teams
  • Excellent communication in English and relationship-building skills

What would be an advantage?

  • Previous experience providing legal counsel within multinational organizations operating in Türkiye and/or Central Asia
  • Experience supporting commercial, marketing, sales, and corporate legal matters across multiple jurisdictions
  • Interest and experience in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
