The Compliance Manager supports the organisation to understand, interpret, and embed compliance obligations in a practical and effective way. The role provides trusted compliance advice, helping to ensure requirements are translated into clear actions, proportionate controls, and consistent business practices.
This role contributes to the ongoing development of the compliance framework, supports effective risk management, and helps strengthen risk culture across the organisation. This includes taking a connected, enterprise wide view of compliance obligations and activity across the business, identifying opportunities to simplify, improve, and create efficiencies in how compliance is managed, monitored, and reported. This includes leveraging technology, data, and AI enabled tools to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance processes and insights.
Your day-to-day could include:
Perform compliance monitoring activities to assess adherence to regulatory obligations, policies, and PwC network standards.
Maintain the compliance framework and obligations register, ensuring obligations are current, accurate, and appropriately assigned.
Analyse compliance results and key risk indicators to identify trends, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and regulatory submissions for leadership and governance forums.
Partner with business stakeholders and offshore teams to strengthen controls and improve compliance processes through technology and AI-enabled solutions.

A minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance, risk, legal, or regulatory roles within a regulated environment, ideally in financial services or professional services.
Demonstrated ability to use technology and data to improve compliance processes, with exposure to AI enabled tools or digital solutions being advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to interpret legislative and regulatory requirements and apply them in a practical business context.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Ability to assess control design and operating effectiveness in a practical business context
Experience preparing concise reporting for senior leadership
Strong analytical skills, judgement, and attention to detail
Ability to manage remediation activity and maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders
Ability to constructively challenge and improve existing processes.
Strong leadership and advisory skills to guide teams in adopting AI solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
