Associate Employment Counsel

**About the Role** The Employment Legal team supports Uber's people strategy across Latin America by advising on labor and employment matters, managing litigation risk, and helping the business navigate complex workforce issues. This role will have the opportunity to work on high-impact employment matters across multiple jurisdictions and partner closely with HR, Employee Relations, and business leaders throughout the region. **What the Candidate Will Do** - Advise HR, Employee Relations, and business stakeholders on labor and employment matters in Argentina. - Support employment litigation strategy and manage outside counsel. - Assist with employee investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and workforce restructuring projects. - Assess employment-related legal risks and develop mitigation strategies. **Basic Qualifications** - Law degree and admission to practice law in Argentina - 3–5 years of experience in labor and employment law, either at a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English. **Preferred Qualifications** - Experience advising multinational companies on labor and employment matters. - Experience managing employment litigation and outside counsel. - Ability to provide practical, business-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment. - Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
