Compliance Analyst

The Opportunity:

Commvault is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team within the Global Security organization. In this role, you will support the execution of compliance, audit, certification, and governance activities that help maintain Commvault's control environment, compliance posture, and customer trust. You will work across Security, Engineering, Product, IT, Risk, and business teams to ensure controls are documented, tested, and operating effectively.

 What you’ll do…

  • Support certification and audit activities across multiple frameworks.
  • Coordinate evidence collection and audit requests.
  • Maintain control documentation, inventories, and compliance records.
  • Support control testing and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Track remediation efforts and assist with corrective action plans.
  • Maintain framework mappings and compliance documentation.
  • Support policy lifecycle management activities.
  • Assist with customer audit and due diligence requests.
  • Maintain records within GRC platforms and compliance tooling.
  • Support governance initiatives related to emerging regulations, customer requirements, and security programs.
  • Partner with Security, Privacy, Risk, and Customer Trust teams on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the compliance program.

Who you are?

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in compliance, audit, GRC, information security, or risk management.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and related control standards.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with GRC platforms such as ServiceNow and Vanta preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISA, or ISO 27001 Foundations are a plus.
