This role sits within a fast-growing, globally distributed legal function that supports complex commercial operations across multiple regions and business units. You will play a key role in enabling high-velocity deal-making while ensuring strong legal and contractual safeguards are in place. The position focuses heavily on reviewing and negotiating vendor and supplier agreements across international markets, requiring both precision and commercial pragmatism. You will act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams such as procurement, security, people, and operations, helping them move quickly while managing legal risk effectively. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and highly business-oriented, with frequent exposure to global stakeholders. Accountabilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, order forms, NDAs, and vendor/supplier contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as a key legal partner to business and functional teams, providing timely, solution-oriented legal guidance to support commercial operations and decision-making.
  • Support and enhance contract playbooks, templates, and negotiation frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and risk mitigation across the organization.
  • Monitor evolving legal and regulatory developments impacting commercial contracting and ensure internal practices remain compliant and up to date.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across different time zones to facilitate smooth contracting and business execution.
  • Provide pragmatic risk assessments and strategic legal advice while balancing legal protection with business enablement.
  • Support broader legal team initiatives and assist with additional legal matters as required in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requirements:

    • Qualified lawyer admitted to practice law in India with 3+ years of relevant experience in commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
    • Experience working with or within in-house legal teams or reputable law firms handling global commercial agreements, particularly vendor/supplier contracts.
    • Strong expertise in reviewing and negotiating a broad range of contracts including MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, NDAs, and related commercial documents.
    • Excellent business judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives in a practical, solutions-focused manner.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners across geographies.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and collaborative environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.
    • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems and exposure to privacy or data-related legal considerations is a plus.
    • Energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
