Senior Compliance Officer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Compliance Officer based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional to play a key role within a fast-growing, highly regulated technology environment. You will help ensure regulatory compliance across multiple U.S. jurisdictions while supporting business expansion into new markets. Working closely with legal, compliance, and operational teams, you will provide practical guidance on licensing, regulatory obligations, and internal controls. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, offering exposure to a wide range of compliance initiatives and regulatory stakeholders. You will contribute to policy development, licensing activities, and ongoing compliance monitoring while helping maintain a culture of integrity and accountability. This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys collaborating across international teams.

Accountabilities:

  • Monitor and assess regulatory developments across U.S. jurisdictions and evaluate their impact on business operations
  • Maintain compliance with existing licenses and support ongoing regulatory obligations
  • Research and coordinate licensing applications and market entry requirements for new jurisdictions
  • Provide practical compliance guidance and support to internal stakeholders across departments
  • Draft, review, update, and implement policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
  • Prepare compliance reports, training materials, and internal communications as required
  • Represent the organization in industry forums and interactions with regulatory authorities
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operational teams to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and internal controls
  • Support compliance projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening governance and risk management processes
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Compliance, Law, Finance, or a related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a compliance role within the iGaming industry
    • Strong understanding of U.S. iGaming regulations and regulatory frameworks
    • Experience managing licensing processes and interacting with regulatory authorities
    • Knowledge of compliance programs, internal controls, and risk management procedures
    • Proven ability to develop policies, procedures, and compliance documentation
    • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in legal and business English
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving regulatory environments
    • Collaborative team player with experience working in multicultural and international environments
