Our client is a growing lifestyle brand focused on building a stronger and more consistent marketing and social media presence through engaging content, creative storytelling, and brand-building initiatives across multiple digital platforms. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a creative and execution-focused Social Media & Marketing Specialist to support content creation, social media management, influencer initiatives, campaign coordination, and broader marketing efforts.

Role Overview

The Social Media & Marketing Specialist will create, edit, and manage engaging social media and marketing content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. This role is heavily focused on content execution, creative storytelling, organization, and maintaining a polished and consistent brand presence across digital channels.

In addition to social media management and short-form content creation, this role will support broader marketing initiatives including campaign coordination, influencer gifting, creator partnerships, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and marketing operations. The ideal candidate is highly creative, trend-aware, organized, and capable of managing projects from ideation through execution within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Content Creation & Editing

  • Transform raw footage, videos, photography, and creative assets into engaging social media content.

  • Edit and repurpose content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

  • Create visually engaging and on-brand content aligned with the company’s voice, positioning, and aesthetic.

  • Adapt content formats and creative styles based on platform performance and audience behavior.

Social Media Management & Content Planning

  • Support and maintain a consistent posting schedule across multiple social platforms.

  • Organize and manage content calendars, publishing timelines, campaign schedules, and creative workflows.

  • Write engaging captions, social copy, and marketing messaging aligned with brand objectives.

  • Monitor social media trends, platform behaviors, viral formats, editing styles, and best practices.

Creative Strategy & Brand Storytelling

  • Bring fresh creative ideas and storytelling concepts to improve engagement, audience growth, and brand presence.

  • Support the development of social-first creative for both organic and paid campaigns.

  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand’s visual identity, messaging, and overall positioning.

Marketing Campaign Support

  • Collaborate closely with leadership and internal teams to execute product launches, campaigns, promotions, and seasonal marketing initiatives.

  • Support broader marketing efforts including campaign coordination, creative project management, and product marketing initiatives.

  • Assist with email marketing and promotional initiatives through content creation and campaign support.

Influencer & UGC Coordination

  • Coordinate UGC creator outreach and gifting initiatives including communication, product seeding, follow-ups, and tracking.

  • Identify and organize creators, influencers, ambassadors, and micro-influencers aligned with the brand and audience.

  • Support influencer partnerships, social collaborations, and community engagement initiatives.

Organization & Workflow Management

  • Maintain organized content libraries, marketing assets, files, and project folders.

  • Ensure all content and marketing materials are delivered on time and meet quality and brand standards.

  • Manage revisions, creative feedback, updates, and multiple ongoing projects efficiently.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Help monitor social media and marketing performance metrics.

  • Identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and content improvement based on performance insights.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or brand marketing roles.

  • Strong experience editing content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

  • Experience working with lifestyle, fashion, beauty, footwear, wellness, or consumer brands is preferred.

  • Portfolio showcasing social media content, creative work, and marketing projects is required.

  • Experience working with UGC creators, influencer gifting, creator partnerships, or social campaigns is strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Proficiency with editing and creative tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar platforms.

  • Strong understanding of social media trends, storytelling, hooks, pacing, audience engagement, and platform behavior.

  • Ability to repurpose long-form or raw footage into engaging short-form content.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, revisions, and content workflows simultaneously.

  • Strong eye for branding, aesthetics, pacing, and social-first creative execution.

  • Comfortable supporting a wide range of marketing and brand initiatives within a growing business environment.

  • Creative mindset with strong storytelling instincts and proactive problem-solving abilities.
