Title: Senior Sales Manager, Branding & Strategic Partnerships

Location: New York, NY (On-Site, 5 days a week in office)

The Role:

The Sr. Sales Manager, Brand & Strategic Partnerships will lead efforts to drive brand revenue opportunities across Roc Nation’s artist roster, IP, and live event portfolio, with a primary focus on agency-facing relationship management and partnership development. This role sits at the intersection of music, culture, and brand marketing, working closely with PR, brand and marketing agencies to identify and execute strategic collaborations.

This position is responsible for cultivating strong agency relationships, identifying commercial opportunities across music video integrations, social amplification, appearances, and live experiences, and delivering both quick-turn transactional deals and larger strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is highly connected, proactive in outreach, and skilled at translating cultural moments into brand opportunities.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to develop pitch strategies, support senior leadership on high-priority accounts, and drive consistent pipeline activity through disciplined tracking, follow-ups, and reporting. This role owns a portfolio of brand relationships and contributes directly to achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains relationships with PR, brand and marketing agencies overseeing brand partnerships and integrations

  • Identifies and drives opportunities across music video integrations, social media amplification, paid appearances, speaking engagements, and event activations

  • Owns and manages a pipeline of brand partnership opportunities from prospecting through deal execution

  • Closes short-term, transactional brand deals across the artist roster while contributing to larger strategic partnerships

  • Conducts consistent follow-ups with brand partners on opportunities from prior weeks to maintain deal momentum

  • Oversees day-to-day support of the artist roster, including development of materials and pitch strategies for both distribution and management clients

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with creative, marketing, talent, and legal teams to align brand opportunities with artist positioning and campaign priorities

  • Supports special projects including Team Roc initiatives and artist and company-owned (O&O) events

  • Assists with Roc Nation O&O and artist-led activations and experiences

  • Provides senior team support by sourcing contacts, ideating partnership concepts, and assisting with onboarding processes, under leadership direction and approval

  • Develops and maintains sales materials, decks, and partnership assets

  • Tracks and updates pipeline activity in Monday.com or similar systems and reports on partnership performance

  • Conducts weekly follow-ups on legacy opportunities to re-engage prospective partners

  • Builds and maintains relationships with influencer agencies and product placement partners

  • Maintains and updates partnership roadmaps to track strategic initiatives

  • Supports development and distribution of quarterly partnership newsletters

  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in talent brand partnerships, event sales, or agency-side roles

  • Deep understanding of talent brand partnerships, integrations, and cultural marketing

  • Proven track record of closing brand deals and managing partnerships

  • Experience working with talent, entertainment, or media brands preferred

  • Strong existing relationships within brand and agency ecosystems

  • Experience developing pitch materials and sales decks

  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and product placement ecosystems is a plus

  • Strong network across brand, PR, and entertainment marketing agencies

  • Ability to identify and execute both quick-win opportunities and long-term strategic deals

  • Strong sales mindset with a proven track record of driving revenue and meeting or exceeding targets

  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience using CRM or pipeline tracking tools (e.g., Airtable, Monday.com)

  • Collaborative approach with ability to work cross-functionally;

  • Strong understanding of music, entertainment, and cultural landscapes

The expected compensation for this position is:

$120,000.00 USD - $150,000.00 USD

** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
