HR Coverage/Content Divisions Specialist – Corporate Communications – Vice President
We’re seeking someone to join our team as an HR Coverage/Content Divisions Manager, to be a communications partner and content leader for key HR domains — ensuring HR communications are accurate, relevant and clear for employees.
In the Corporate Communications department, we cultivate and protect the Firm’s powerful global brand and reputation, leveraging our resources across media relations, internal communications, philanthropy and digital strategy to ensure we present the Firm consistently in all that we do. This is a Vice President position within our Communications Job Family which is primarily responsible for the crafting and development of messages and programs aimed at the firm’s employees overall, as well as the firm’s Financial Advisors and Field Management. We provide editorial support and strategic guidance to business partners, liaise with the Firm’s businesses and departments and senior leadership on internal communications matters, and provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on communications.

What you’ll do in the role
Advanced understanding of business line and growing understanding of overall firm and competitive environment
Advanced understanding of discipline and some understanding of other disciplines -Proven ability to multi-task and deliver with minimal supervision
High level of professionalism with experience working with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team -- making informed decisions in a complex and fast-paced environment
Lead strategy and content for assigned HR domains (e.g., Benefits, Talent, D&I).
Translate complex programs and policy into clear, employee-ready messaging and FAQs.
Partner with HR domain leaders early to shape communications and anticipate employee questions.
Ensure domain communications align to enterprise standards and are sequenced with related initiatives.
Support major launches, campaigns and engagement moments with crisp, practical communications.
Partner with Operations and Support to govern vendor communications for accuracy and alignment.

Required: Demonstrated expertise working across groups — connecting HR SMEs, communications partners and delivery teams.
Preferred: HR subject-matter expertise strongly encouraged (domain fluency is highly valued).
Experience: At least 6 years’ experience in HR and/or employee communications, ideally supporting one or more HR domains (e.g., Benefits, Talent, D&I).
Strong writing/editing and the ability to simplify without oversimplifying.
High standards for accuracy, tone and employee experience.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
