The opportunity:
As a Junior Copywriter you participate in our mission to push the frontiers of creativity as we inspire growth for ambitious brands. In international and Hungarian markets alike you will be working across all types of media (both online and off). Your task is to create and refine content innovatively. Under the supervision and mentoring from your seniors and creative director, you'll craft compelling narratives that differentiate our products, engage our audience, and drive business results. From developing product messaging to exploring innovative content formats, you'll play a key role in shaping our brand's future.
What you’ll be doing:
- To participate in the creation and/or to create concepts, communicated via stories, narratives, and different advertising materials for marketing campaigns supervised and mentored by senior colleagues
- Take an idea through all the creative process, from concept to drafting and all the way towards the final execution
- Work closely with an Art Director or graphic designer, to create boundary-pushing advertising campaigns
- Write copy (in a wide variety of formats) that has a calculated impact on the target audience
- Work with Client Service teams to understand client business objectives and audience demographics/characteristics
- Ensure with the help of senior colleagues that the quality is up to the highest standards on all projects
- Use of SOSHI to report worklogs and project status
- Proactively take part and clearly communicate through the full project lifecycles handling challenges and client comments with an open attitude that does not sacrifice the quality of the outcome
- Find ways to proactively turn client briefs or internal initiatives into inspiring award-winning work
What we want from you:
- 0-3 years of experience in an advertising agency
- The ability to write, in a wide selection of styles and formats, in Hungarian and English with impeccable grammar
- The ability to see offline and online advertising as complex ecosystem and to identify the points in where these two can complement/capitalize on each other
- The drive to generate ideas and present them with confidence
- Determination to learn and master the craft of copywriting by internalizing feedback and direction given by senior colleagues
- The ability to work productively in teams and seamlessly assimilating existing workflows and processes.
- A portfolio that shows a strong potential for conceptual thinking and creative writing
- Knowledge of all advertising channels including native use of all current and emerging social media channels
- The ability to switch seamlessly between different brand tones
- To take pleasure in both creative thinking and producing content
- A love for writing
- BA/BS degree with a major in writing, Hungarian/English, journalism, or other closely related areas
